Antivirus Microsoft și numeroase aplicații afectate de vulnerabilitate

Microsoft a dezvăluit săptămâna aceasta că o vulnerabilitate din Motorul său de protecție împotriva malware-ului ar putea permite unui atacator să provoace o refuz de serviciu. Acest software este o parte integrantă a acestuia software de securitate pentru Windows și este integrat într-o varietate de alte produse software.

Conform Microsoft Security Advisory 2974294, este disponibilă o actualizare pentru următorul software afectat:

• Microsoft System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection
• Microsoft System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection Service Pack 1
• Instrument de eliminare a software-ului rău intenționat Microsoft (se aplică numai pentru mai 2014 sau versiunile anterioare)
• Microsoft Security Essentials
• Prelansare Microsoft Security Essentials
• Windows Defender pentru Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 și Windows Server 2012 R2
• Windows Defender pentru Windows RT și Windows RT 8.1
• Windows Defender pentru Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 și Windows Server 2008 R2
• Windows Defender Offline
• Windows Intune Endpoint Protection

Avizul afirmă în mod explicit că următoarele programe software nu sunt afectate:

• Microsoft Standalone System Sweeper (parte din Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset)
