Jocul Splinter Cell VR de la Ubisoft este anulat oficial

Still no word on the status of the highly-anticipated Assassin`s Creed Joc VR.

În 2019 a fost zvonuri began circulating about a Splinter Cell VR game potentially in development at Ubisoft’s Red Storm studio with support from Reflections. In 2020, the company confirmed reports that they were in fact working on a VR adaptation of the legendary stealth-action game.

În conformitate cu Informațiile, an original VR game based on the iconic Assassin`s Creed franchise, both of which would be available exclusively on Meta (formerly Oculus) VR headsets.

Unfortunately, Ubisoft this week announced the cancellation of four games in development, including the aforementioned Splinter Cell VR experience. The news was reported by Jocuri video Cronica, citing a recent financial call led by Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot.

According to Guillemot, these cancellations were the result of an “uncertain economic environment,” but beyond that, details are limited.

În plus față de Splinter Cell VR game, Ubisoft has also canceled the development of Ghost Recon Frontline, a large-scale battle royale game based on the hit series, as well as two unannounced titles. Whether or not the previously-mentioned Assassin`s Creed VR game is still in development remains to be seen.
