The bill will generate $28 billion from taxing the crypto riche but the definition of who or how the funds will be taxed is alarmingly general and it will also demand miners, DeFi, and larger entities to file customers forms with the IRS. The definition since underwent an update and instead of calling the entities that are in contact with crypto a broker, the bill states that any person that is responsible for providing more service effectuating transfers of crypto on behalf of other persons.
