AV Stumpfl Monoblox screen is backdrop to Belfast Pride

AV rental and video production company Revolution Productions has supplied the PA system, lighting and projection at the biggest LGBTQ+ festival in Northern Ireland, Belfast Pride 2022, opting for the Monoblox 32 508×294 FP 16:9 as the ‘main event’ screen.

Joni Millar, operations manager at Revolution Productions, said: “It formed the backdrop for the stage and subsequently the whole event. It was used to play highlights videos from 2019, promotional content for upcoming events, sponsors’ logos and Pride’s ‘community united in diversity’ message as guests arrived.”

The highly engineered mobile projection screen features auto-locking snap joints – with one button to push and release – to provide greater durability at the folding hinge points. Revolution Productions praised the simplicity and effectiveness of the Monoblox 32 508×294, whether using the screen solo or flown as part of a larger set-up.

The director and founder of Revolution Productions, Gordon Cross, said: “We utilised our 5m x 3m screen on legs, as it sat on the raised stage surface. It was perfect for the award winners and sponsors to pass in front of the screen.”
