Innovative information security companies of any size, that have not yet gone public, or with a public market valuation heading towards $1B USD or more may apply for this prestigious award.

There are approximately 4,000 cybersecurity companies in the world. A small number will be named a Top InfoSec Innovator in the World for 2023. A smaller group, no more than ten, who appear to be on a one to three year trajectory to be valued at $1B USD will be named The Black Unicorns for 2023.

Winners to be Announced during our annual CISO Conference 2023. This will all be included in our annual Black Unicorn Report for 2023, distributed on October 26, 2023 at CyberDefenseCon 2023 and then worldwide online and to hundreds of thousands of our opt-in email subscribers.

Finalists will be giving the opportunity to present their solution in the Top InfoSec Innovators showcase during our in-person intimate private invitation only CISO conference taking place October 26 and 27th 2023 at the Ritz-Carlton, Orlando, Florida USA, where more than 120 Top Global CISOs gather each year. We have very limited room for finalists to showcase their solutions, first come first serve, and once the showcase is full, we still want to celebrate all of our winners so therefore, we’ve already setup the awards like last year – you do not have to be at the conference to win.
