CZ Isn’t Interested About CoinDesk’s List; Reveals His Tweets

• CZ Binance tweets on not being on the list of CoinDesk’s most influential crypto figures of 2022.
• CoinDesk published a list of around 100 contentions for the title recently.
• The Binance CEO sarcastically mentions Terra CEO Do Kwon’s presence in the list.

Binance CEO, Changpeng Zhao, well known to the crypto community as CZ, tweeted his thoughts on not making it to CoinDesk’s list of the most influential crypto figures of 2022. Earlier this month, CoinDesk published a ballot for the title of “Most Influential in Crypto” on their official website.

However, Binance fans and crypto enthusiasts have shown their disagreement with the way things have turned out via social media platforms. In a tweet today, H. Wonder, a popular crypto-enthusiast, expressed confusion over CoinDesk not listing Zhao and the BNB Team.

Subsequently, Zhao tweeted his response following the incident, saying he has no interest in the number nor does he promote it. In addition, he provided screenshots of his conversation with a journalist regarding crypto ranking lists.

The Binance CEO quipped about Do Kwon’s presence on the list. The Terraform Labs CEO has been the subject of numerous controversies lately, after Terra USD and its sister token LUNA collapsed. Kwon also faced backlash for being arrogant in his replies, for which he apologized during the latest interview with crypto journalist Laura Shin.

Lately, there have been quite a few controversies surrounding bitcoin, NFTs, and other aspects of blockchain technology. One of the most recent ones can be traced back to a recent statement made by Jamie Dimon, CEO of JP Morgan, who referred to Bitcoin as “worthless” and stirred up a lot of debates and discussions among crypto enthusiasts.
