Davinci Jeremie, a prominent crypto educator and one of Bitcoin’s earliest adopters, recently asked crypto investors to cup some Shiba Inu (SHIB) tokens. The early Bitcoin investor has grown to develop a particular affinity to SHIB, occasionally promoting the asset to his large following.

Jeremie’s latest remarks on Shiba Inu came as a response to an inquiry made by Slavik Crypto, a crypto analyst, and Bitcoin enthusiast. Slavik had asked the public for suggestions on altcoins he should invest his USDT in, to which Jeremie responded, “Umm SHIB.”

The recommendation from Jeremie has particularly caught the attention of some crypto enthusiasts due to his renown within the space. Jeremie is well-known among crypto proponents as one of the earliest Bitcoin adopters that begged people to invest at least $1 into Bitcoin in a 2013 YouTube video.

In the video, Jeremie is seen advising people to buy at least $1 worth of BTC and put it away in a wallet. He noted that a dollar would have amounted to a million satoshis (0.01 BTC) at the time. This investment would have appreciated hundred times at Bitcoin’s ATH of November 2021. Jeremie has also revealed previously that he bought BTC when it was below $1.

Jeremie’s Advocacy and SHIB’s Growing Popularity

The prominent crypto enthusiast has now taken a particular interest in Shiba Inu, advocating for the asset when the opportunity presents itself. Last June, he revealed that he sold “everything” apart from Dogecoin and Shiba Inu.

Moreover, he also disclosed that Shiba Inu is the one asset he plans to hold until the next bull run. Reacting to reports of Crypto.com having SHIB as its second-highest holding, Jeremie recommended in November 2022 that investors must own some SHIB in their private wallets as well.

Besides Jeremie, other crypto enthusiasts have transitioned to SHIB advocates over the years amid the asset’s growing adoption rate. This growing adoption was partly triggered by the asset’s massive price surge from 2020 to 2021. $100 invested in SHIB on January 1, 2021, would’ve resulted in $48M in returns in December 2021.
