Entropiq transfer list main roster

Entropiq have placed their main squad on the transfer list, the organisation has revealed to HLTV.org. The roster is set to continue to play under the Entropiq tag while the organisation entertains offers for both individual players and the team as a whole.

The move comes less than a month after Entropiq placed long-time AWPer Aleksei “El1an” Gusev on the bench, with the mutual decision to part ways coming after the squad’s 3-4th place run at ESL Challenger Melbourne.

NickelBack is set to depart Entropiq after 18 months of service

The Russian side has enjoyed a fair amount of success in the 18 months under the Entropiq banner. Aleksei “NickelBack” Trofimov and company notably peaked at No. 9 on the world ranking back in January, spurred on by a second-place finish in ESEA Premier Season 39 and a first-place showing at Pinnacle Fall Series 2.

Entropiq place El1an on transfer list

Alas, the roster’s form has dipped compared to their initial heights whilst with the black-and-green, the team now sits at No. 38 on the world ranking — their lowest placing since the lineup’s formation in January 2021. The quintet was unable to qualify for the two Valve-sponsored events of the year — PGL Major Antwerp and the upcoming IEM Major Rio — whilst visa issues prevented their participation at other noteworthy events such as IEM Dallas.

“Due to visa issues, our players couldn’t attend IEM Dallas for which they qualified through tough competition. This resulted in our absence at IEM Cologne as well,” says Entropiq CEO Daniel Kloud. “Fortunately, there was no such a visa situation with ESL Challenger in Melbourne, where we finished in a tied third place.”

“Nevertheless, we didn’t achieve our goals this year for various reasons. We especially regret the unsuccessful qualifications for the last two Majors,” Daniel Kloud added. “At the same time, since the beginning of the war [in Ukraine], it has been impossible to fulfill business goals associated with our CIS roster. For these reasons we decided to place the team on a transfer list.”

Entropiq currently have the following roster:

Russia Aleksei “NickelBack” Trofimov
Russia Igor “Forester” Bezotecheskiy
Russia Vladislav “Krad” Kravchenko
Russia Nikolay “mir” Bityukov
Israel Guy “anarkez” Trachtman (stand-in)

Russia Dmitry “hooch” Bogdanov (coach)

Russia Aleksei “El1an” Gusev (benched)
