ESL have announced that ESL Challenger #52 will be held in Melbourne, Australia as part of the DreamHack Festival at the Rod Laver Arena. The tournament is set to run from April 28-30 featuring a total of eight teams competing for the $100,000 prize pool.

ESL unveil 2023 Pro Tour calendar
It will be the second consecutive year that an ESL Challenger event will be held in Melbourne following the 2022 iteration, where paiN hoisted the silverware after a triumphant grand final series over Imperial.

Money and a trophy aren’t the only things on the line for the participating teams, as the eventual champions will also claim a spot at the ESL Pro League Season 18 Conference stage.
Teams will be split into two groups of four each and will follow a double-elimination GSL format, with the top two teams advancing to a single-elimination playoff bracket.
Tickets for the three-day event will go on sale starting December 12, Monday, on the official DreamHack website.
