Ethernity Chain Launches WNBA Hall of Fame NFT Collection

Ethernity Chain, a blockchain-based platform that allows users to take advantage of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), announced a new WNBA Hall of Fame limited-edition NFT collection.

The team announced the news in a press release, saying that the WNBA Hall of Fame NFT collection inductees Swin Cash and Tamika Catchings in collaboration with round21.

What’s more, as Ethernity is committed to driving growth and adoption in the NFT space, the platform highlights that it is providing an exclusive community drop of the “Catch & Cash” WNBA Legends Series.

In addition, users could claim the available NFTs on a first-come, first-served basis using Ethereum — the second-largest crypto by market cap. Moreover, to process the transaction, users will have to pay gas fees.

According to the team, the NFT collection of 21 carries a value of $999, and the editions of 250 will be worth $399 each. Aside from these, an exclusive 1 of 1 sale piece will be available to bid on to all interested parties. Beyond this, users can claim if they have at least 10 ERN in their crypto wallet or Stones Farming Contract.

Note that round21 enlisted artist Blacksneakers to create a series of 5 NFTs that bring their journeys to life and also to celebrate the work they’ve put in on the court and off. round21 did that to commemorate their legacy and continue their legacy through future generations.

In a nutshell, the team notes that every detail of the NFT artwork has a backstory inspired by hours of talks with the athletes. On top of that, it also has the details of their Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame induction ceremony on August 21, 2021.

Not to mention, Cash and Catchings stressed that all net profits realized by both athletes from the auctions of the digital collectibles will go directly to their respective charities — Cash for Kids and the Catch the Stars Foundation.
