Madonna Launched The First NFT With Beeple And Its NSFW

Madonna launched the first NFT with Beeple and it is NSFW which depicts a naked 3D avatar of Madonna giving birth in various settings so let’s read more about it in today’s latest cryptocurrency news.

Pop icon Madonna launched the first NFT with Beeple and it announced it recently saying that the collection includes CGI Madonna giving birth and it is called the “Mother of Creation.” Madonna has a Bored Ape Yacht Club Twitter Profile shared that the pair started collaborating on the first NFT a year ago:

“We set out to create something that is absolutely and utterly connected to the idea of creation and motherhood.”

She said the NFTs are unique blockchain tokens that prove ownership of the asset and in this case a video. While the NFT videos could seem bizarre, Madonna explained that the art will be auctioned on Super rare and has a simple meaning:

“The opening of each video is essentially me giving birth. I’m doing what women have been doing since the beginning of time, which is giving birth. But on a more existential level, I’m giving birth to art, and creativity, and we would be lost without both.”

People said that the next era of NFTs will focus on emotional connection and utility rather than just rampant speculation. The NFTs with Madonna touches upon an emotional connection to technology but also nature. The visuals in the NFTs are surreal and quite disturbing so the result is a contrast between the soft side of the women and the sterility of the research labs. Dubbed “Mother of Evolution” shows how in times of chaos, rebirth can still happen but the art offers a dark take on humanity’s relationship with technology.

The crypto platform MoonPay will be donating $300,000 as a part of the NFT launch and $100,000 to each charity.
