Tay will be responsible for managing the company’s business relationships with both bank and non-bank lenders in Singapore. This role encompasses the expansion of Lendela’s customer and partner relations.

His new position also involves spearheading the transformation of customer experience at Lendela, aligning with the company’s growth strategy following a US$5 million Series A funding round in November 2023 led by Walter de Oude’s Chocolate Ventures.

Bryan Tay’s sports career includes participation in the 2008 Summer Olympics, along with representing Singapore in various international swimming competitions, where he achieved multiple gold medals.

He was co-founder of Boom Singapore, a fitness studio, from 2018 to 2023. Under his leadership, Boom Singapore reportedly witnessed significant growth, including an expansion into Thailand and the Philippines.

Established in 2018, Lendela has provided over 100,000 consumers with transparent and informed loan choices, working in collaboration with more than 100 lending partners. The company operates from offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney, and Kuala Lumpur.
