As of this afternoon, the WIPP ethereum wallet was emptied of PAGE tokens! If you haven’t been following along, feel free to peruse this month’s update here. We sent all of the remaining PAGE token supply to the multisig array which will allow for fair and verifiable transactions. Following successful creation of our TosDis smart contract, it has been relatively simple to set up the rest of the smart contracts needed to distribute the PAGE token.

In this document, we’ll go over the rules and distributions in some detail, explaining how we set things up along the way. It’s important to say that we, the WIPP dev team and the under-construction PAGE DAO, know we would not be here without support and encouragement from our community and teams. It has taken a lot of work to get here, and most of it has been uncompensated. The fairness of the PAGE distribution model will allow maximal decentralization by fairly compensating newcomers and founding team members alike. Participation in governance and transactions on the network are metrics PAGE will eventually measure, in order to accurately incentivize behaviors and thereby improve network performance.

Multisig 1: 3,000,000 PAGE tokens vested over 18 months to build out the network (development & strategic reserve).

Multisig 2: 500,000 PAGE tokens vested over 18 months to the Founding Team (Founders’ Pool).

Multisig 3: 3,450,000 PAGE tokens, with 2M vesting over 18 months and 1.45M to be distributed over 16 months to other community organizations (Community Pool).

Total multisig + vesting token distribution: 6,950,000. This leaves 50,000 tokens which have gone to TrustSwap and 3,000,000 that are locked up in the TosDis smart contract as Liquidity Mining Incentives, for a total of 2M PAGE.

Each multisig wallet will eventually have a diverse board of signatories, and each revenue stream from each is potentially its own multisig, which could make it easier to more thoroughly decentralize the network.

Total setup cost was about 60k PAGE tokens, including just over 10k to set up Unicrypt’s vesting system and 50k to the TrustSwap community fund.

To participate in liquidity mining, you must first stake PAGE against ETH on Uniswap in equal value. You can do this by navigating to the Uniswap pool here. Then connect your wallet, choose your deposit amount, and confirm your transaction(s). It will ask for a signature, to authorize use of your PAGE tokens, the first time you attempt to spend PAGE tokens. There is a small ETH transaction fee to complete this permission, then afterward the system remembers.

The second step is to wait for your transaction to confirm on the network, but when that’s done you can move on to step 3.

Navigate to TosDis and add your LP Tokens to the staking pool. There is no minimum lockup period, but the first-come, first-served model will distribute the largest per-LPT rewards. What this means is that, as time goes by, it will become less lucrative to supply PAGE liquidity, depending on how many liquidity providers arrive. There are 3M total PAGE tokens available to be claimed this way, which incentivizes liquidity providers to come as soon as possible and stay as long as they are able. The heart of any major blockchain project is a healthy and decentralized cryptocurrency; welcome to PAGE.
