Another roster change looks to be on the horizon for the veteran squad.
As reported by Dust2.br and originally by BLIX.gg, Imperial is set to part ways with coach Luis “peacemaker” Tadeu. The 34-year-old had been with the team since its formation in January as the Last Dance. No reason has been cited for the departure currently.
The report comes after another report from last week that stated Lincoln “fnx” Lau was on his way out of the lineup, with MIBR captain Marcelo “chelo” Cespedes being the front-runner for his replacement.
peacemaker may depart Imperial
While coaching the squad, peacemaker helped Imperial to qualify for the PGL Antwerp Major and oversaw their campaign at IEM Cologne. However, he wasn’t able to attend the Antwerp Major himself due a provisional suspension from ESIC as a result of usage of the free-roam variant of the coach bug.
Despite missing the Major, it took under a month for ESIC to finalize his sanctions, in which he was found innocent of the cheating charge from Article 2.4.4 of the ESIC Code of Conduct. The Brazilian veteran was still found guilty of not acting in an appropriate manner in response to his being in the bug, with a ban of 22 days being issued.
Here is Imperial‘s potential lineup after both reported exits:
Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo
Fernando “fer” Alvarenga
Ricardo “boltz” Prass
Vinicius “VINI” Figueiredo
Lincoln “fnx” Lau (inactive)
Luis “peacemaker” Tadeu (inactive coach)
