SafeMoon Launches Beta Sign Ups for its Upcoming Wallet

SafeMoon, a community-driven DeFi Token has finally opened registration for the beta launch of its wallet platform that allows users to store and trade their SafeMoon tokens.

On 14th June, a member of the SafeMoon team announced on Reddit that a sign-up form for a closed beta version of the token’s upcoming SafeMoon wallet would go live the following day, welcoming 500 users to test the product.

According to the developers, the wallet platform will allow users to store and trade their SafeMoon tokens.

To participate in the beta test, users would need to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), indicating what the terms of the NDA are.

“You will be required to sign an NDA during the closed beta which will expire when we move to open beta testing.” states the condition for testing the wallet, however, the details of the NDA remain unclear.

The release of the form prompted a number of posts on the SafeMoon Reddit page to abide by the NDA’s terms if they are chosen to test the wallet:

“There might be some serious penalties for violating the NDA. I highly recommend people who sign the NDA take it seriously and abide by it.”

On its website, SafeMoon describes its wallet description as “a secure place to store and trade your Safemoon. Some features include Simplex integration, dark mode, contacts list, hold to cancel, and haptic feedback.”

SafeMoon Price Remains Stable Following Wallet Beta Launch

Despite the announcement encouraging SafeMoon fans to join up for the beta testing stage of the token’s future SafeMoon Wallet, the price remains more or less the same over the past 24 hours.

Data from CoinMarketCap indicates that the coin is hovering at $0.00000422, at the time of writing, with a current market capitalization of about $2.4 billion.

SafeMoon multiplied rapidly after a wave of celebrity endorsements from rapper Lil’ Yachty, YouTuber Logan Paul, sports blogger Dave Portnoy and former Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter. The cryptocurrency hit a high of $0.00001375 in April 2021 before falling over 70% down to $0.000003919 as of June 2021.
