Hello Pal’s Contribution To Dogecoin Mining Hello Pal International Inc. is the first platform that contributed to the live streaming and mining of Dogecoin. It became the first publicly-traded company focused on DOGE mining in May 2021. Unfortunately, the website experienced a large traffic surge that was temporarily unavailable when many people reacted to the news. The popular live streaming platform allows users to participate in mining by purchasing cryptocurrency mining rigs in whole or part. The company has made a lot more money after adding Litecoin/Dogecoin mining rigs. Since then, the platform has added more Antminer L7 mining rigs to its fleet, making 400 in total. Hello Pal’s founder and chairman, KL Wong, stated that the company’s live-streaming operations continue to generate strong operating results as the company expands outside of China. The company recently signed a memorandum of understanding with UniCrypt, one of Europe’s leading non-custodial crypto wallet providers in terms of user count, to expand outside its North American mining operations and its live-streaming platform which is largely used in Asia. Collaboration Between Hello Pal and UniCrypt UniCrypt is based in Switzerland and provides assistance to over 14 million customers worldwide in sending and receiving money via wallets and cryptocurrencies. One of the benefits of using UniCrypt services for Hello Pal is that it makes it easy for new users to sign up and start using the service. As a result, this benefit will be important for Hello Pal’s plans to integrate cryptocurrencies into its platform as a whole, particularly the live streaming services of the company. As Hello Pal’s live streaming operations expand into new markets, the ability to accept cross-border payments becomes increasingly important. This has lent credibility to UniCrypt’s services and gives them a significant advantage over their competitors. “We are thrilled about the possibilities this partnership will bring to our efforts to get more people to use cryptocurrency, not just among Hello Pal users, but around the world,” said KL Wong. “We hope to give many people around the world their first experience with cryptocurrency and introduce them to a global social community with a borderless payments system because UniCrypt makes it easy for new users to sign up and create separate wallets.” Elon Musk’s Tweet Concerning Dogecoin Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, Inc., tweeted in January 2022 that he would eat a Happy Meal on TV if McDonald’s Corporation began accepting Dogecoin as payment. Musk stated on Twitter that Dogecoin is the “people’s currency.” Since DOGE holders can’t use “the people’s crypto” to buy one of Musk’s cars, they can use it to purchase Tesla merchandise such as the Giga Texas belt buckle and small electric car models. In other words, McDonald’s is yet to conclude if it will take Musk’s tweet seriously. So Mr. Beast Burger, an American fast-food chain that only delivers and employs the “ghost kitchen” model, seized the opportunity. In response to Musk’s tweet, Jimmy Donalds, an internet personality (AKA MrBeast), tweeted: “We will work on supporting Dogecoin if you share this tweet.” Companies Accepting Dogecoin As a Means Of Payment Different companies have been accepting Dogecoin as a means of payment recently. They include the following: AMC Entertainment Holdings AMC Entertainment Holdings, Inc. has begun accepting Dogecoin and Shiba Inu as cryptocurrency payments at its theatre chains. They are the world’s largest movie theatre chain, with locations in Europe, the United States, and other parts of the world. It owns or operates approximately 950 theatres and 10,500 screens worldwide. AMC had stated that the company would accept bitcoin, bitcoin cash, litecoin, and ether. However, customers could only use these cryptocurrencies to make payments through their PayPal accounts. CEO Adam Aron assured the cryptocurrency community that his company’s theatres would accept DOGE and SHIB after posting a Twitter poll about dogecoin in September 2017 and another poll about Shiba Inus a month later.  Petco Health and Wellness Company, Inc Pet owners could express their love for dog-themed digital currencies last year by buying supplies at Petco stores using the SPEDN smartphone app from Flexa, a crypto payment processing startup.
