“So, the Cock Fosters will still be part of your Gemini team?” Ev continues on, curiously.
“Right,” Cameron replies first. “They’re like a decade younger than us which is great, and they really are the right asset for us growing the whole concept into the art and collectible world on blockchain. We really believe the future is in the artwork and NFT worlds.”
“And if we could have had an extension of ourselves as twins who know coding, well, the Cock Fosters would be it. It doesn’t hurt that they’ve been coding since the sixth grade,” Tyler finishes Cameron’s remarks.
“You mean, avoid a whole Facebook debacle 2.0?” Ev tries to be sarcastic.
More chuckles from the twins’ line.
“Well, you know it’s been a helluva ride and it’s only gotten better for us,” Cameron concludes.
“Well, we believe, we faired better in the whole deal and it’s worked out in our favor, rightfully so,” Tyler interjects.
“But, I’ve said it before, even in interviews. We’re betting the future, Ev, is in decentralized networks, not centralized ones,” Cameron continues.
“Huuh. You don’t think there is a way to use blockchain in a centralized network fashion for content?” Ev questions.
“Well, Ev, we’re really banking from some experience we’ve had, having taken part in the metaverse, that there are just lots of independent individuals, artists and creators, who naturally want to create their own little communities and have more secure ownership of their works. You know, without the hands from someone above,” Cameron offers.
“And that’s what Nifty Gateway is going to do for us,” Tyler finishes Cameron’s thoughts.
“Well, I’m definitely not Mark,” Ev remarks. “And we’re sort of on the same side but in a different way. We’re trying to fight advertising that just degrades quality of content on my platform.”
“So, how’s that going?” Tyler asks.
“Yeah. Here’s where I’d love to get some more thoughts from you two on NFT application for us.”
