VulcanVerse Beta on Fire as PYR Heats Up

The fantasy-rich online world of VulcanVerse recently launched its beta, which brought a wave of new users into the ecosystem. Because of the newly launched product, demand for the native PYR token has increased tremendously. 

PYR is the native token of the VulcanVerse ecosystem, and users need it to acquire items, or improve the yield farming capabilities of their land. Because of this demand and the VulcanVerse beta launch, the PYR token increased its value 97% over the past two weeks to $3,15 at the time of writing. At the same time, trading volumes have quadrupled from $200,000 per day to more than $800,000. 

VulcanVerse is a fantasy MMO in which players own land, build the world, work together and compete. It’s one of multiple games in the Vulcan Forged ecosystem. Some NFTs in this ecosystem can be used in a variety of games. For example, the Vulcanite NFTs are guardian characters in VulcanVerse, and became legendary cards in the trading card game Berserk. 

Inside VulcanVerse, gamers use PYR to upgrade their NFT land or NFT god characters. Each level increase requires a certain amount of PYR, while players also need to stake extra PYR into their NFT. Upgraded land gives players a share of the monthly PYR rewards from the staking pool.

The entire Vulcan Forged ecosystem is rich in fantasy. One of the latest additions is Death Dealer, a creation from the legendary fantasy artist Frank Fazetta. The Death Dealer is a unique, one-of-a-kind NFT that users can win by participating in a raffle. Tickets are available on the official website with a starting price of $20. In addition, there are 500 other NFT prizes, including in-demand land inside VulcanVerse.

VulcanVerse can be best described as an open-world massively multiplayer online role playing game, or MMORPG. The game is set in a Greco-Roman setting and references mythology a lot. However, VulcanVerse stands out from other MMORPGs, because players truly own game assets such as characters and land.

In VulcanVerse, the primary assets players can own are land, Vulcanites, Gods, and items like weapons, for example. Gamers can buy and sell these on the public marketplace, and each of them is limited in supply. 

The game world consists of four quadrants, each with its own unique characteristics and qualities. Even though VulcanVerse defines the setting, players are free to create their own quests and adventures.
