Ce urmează pentru viitorul Ethereum? explică Mihailo Bjelic de la Polygon

Odată cu tranziția către un blockchain scalabil, cu dovadă de miză, cu energie ușoară, pentru Ethereum, mulți au pus îndoieli cu privire la viitorul monedei populare, având în vedere amploarea și complexitatea upgrade-ului Merge. Dar, printre părțile interesate proeminente, un anumit proiect rămâne puternic optimist cu privire la viitorul Ethereum, care nu este altceva decât soluția de scalare de nivel doi Polygon.

La conferința anuală a comunității Ethereum de la Paris, managerul de evenimente Cointelegraph, Maria A., a vorbit cu vicepreședintele de creștere al Polygon, Mihailo Bjelic, despre acest subiect. Iată ce a avut de spus Bjelic cu privire la fuziune:

“This is an upgrade on a live network that has millions of users, billions in capital, and tens of thousands of applications. It is never easy, but the Merge has been in the works for over two years. All the testnets have been successful, the code has been audited, etc., so I think we are more than ready for the upgrade.”

Bjelic then explained that it’s more than likely that Ethereum will endure the bear market and recover: “Two reasons. First, it’s the home of innovation and development. It’s where all the developers are, it’s where 90%-plus of activity is happening. Projects focused on the money will disappear, but the true developers will stay.” He continued: “The second reason is that Ethereum is the most secure, decentralized and programmable blockchain in the world, by far. It is perfectly positioned to be the center of this multichain web that we’re trying to build to potentially reach to billions of users.”

Concomitent cu acest interviu, Polygon a anunțat miercuri că acesta a lansat Polygon zkEVM, sau mașină virtuală Ethereum fără cunoștințe, care ar putea scala producția tranzacțiilor blockchain la niveluri și mai mari. „Are compatibilitate completă cu EVM, scalabilitate și securitate folosind puterea lui dovezi de cunoaștere zero. Aș spune că aceasta este o descoperire majoră în materie de tehnologie”, a spus Bjelic. În ceea ce privește adopția, Polygon a integrat peste 30,000 de aplicații și 140 de milioane de portofele de utilizatori de la înființare.
