Last week, we shifted into low gear at RexRod’s slow-paced Munții Melozi, a world that invites you to enjoy the splendor of nature, listen to the sounds of a river, and marvel at snow-topped alpine peaks.

This week, we heard from Blaqjedi, the creator of a number of great and engaging worlds, including CINEMA JEDI, where you can “go to your favorite movies and shows.”

Ce te-a făcut interesat de VR?

I have a background in graphic design, photography, computer building, and art. I’ve always been interested in how things work, whether it’s machines or people’s minds. What got me interested in VR was being able to bring my work to people in another dimension.

La ce te inspiri când construiești în Horizon Worlds?

It’s the enjoyment of the human experience. I bring a lot of real life to Horizon Worlds so that I can give people experiences they may never have in the physical world, like being on the set of famous movies.

Sunteți programator/creator ca meseria dvs. de zi cu zi sau vedeți asta ca pe un hobby?

I would love to be a programmer or developer, but for now it’s a hobby.

Colaborezi cu alții și, dacă da, cum este acea experiență pentru tine?

I collaborate quite a bit, and I love it because I get to help others bring their visions to life. For me, that’s pure joy.

Care este cel mai bun sfat al tău pentru a începe să construiești lumi pentru Horizon Worlds?

Don’t focus on likes and popularity. Instead, create with a purpose and let that purpose drive you. Also, be sure to use the tutorials on YouTube and take some of the many scripting classes that are available.

Cum credeți că se încadrează VR în viziunea viitoare a metaversului?

VR is an amazing vehicle for getting us closer to the metaverse. As it grows technologically, it will become the best vehicle because it lets us be fully immersed in a virtual world—and that’s an experience that computers or phones can’t give us.

Care este experiența ta preferată VR?

Building something and having people actually come and have the experience I wanted them to have.
