Front Row fuels Draper’s expansion into 21:9 screens

Draper has launched several new standard screen sizes with a 21:9 aspect ratio to cater for the growing demand for Front Row in Microsoft Teams Rooms.

The 21:9 ratio is available on the Acumen V, Acumen V XL, Access V, Access XL V, Ultimate Access V, Ultimate Access XL V, Premier and Premier XL electric screens. They have also been added to the Profile Plus framed screen.

The Front Row layout is bringing new life to the 21:9 screen format as it displays the video gallery horizontally below the main content, allowing for a more natural eye level experience for attendees. While it can work with 16:9 monitors, 21:9 offers users a better experience.

Steve Cook, Draper’s consultant relations manager, said: “21:9 has exciting potential beyond a desktop setup, allowing more-immersive experiences in much larger sizes. Projection is an affordable way to make a larger image in Microsoft Teams Rooms and other applications. 4K-UHD projectors provide the best viewing experience with 21:9 screens. Their vertical resolution of 2160 is higher than high-definition 1080p, or WUXGA projectors.”
