Introducing Castle Links, The Latest 18-Hole Irish-Inspired Course for Golf+

Polish your virtual golf clubs and get ready to strike out on a brand-new 18-hole course in Golf+ with the debut of Castle Links on Meta Quest 2. This new Irish-inspired course features long grass, tightly landscaped fairways, windy conditions, and absolutely zero trees. But don’t get too excited, because there are still plenty of prickly gorse and nasty pot bunkers to get in your way.

With the addition of Castle Links in Golf+ the grand total of unique holes rises to a whopping 108 across six entire courses. Golf+ continues to push the limits of Quest 2 with its lush visuals and new graphical features such as volumetric fog, coastal waves across oceans, a new wind system, updated grass physics, and a new sky with a much moodier undertone.

In this new summer update, Golf+ is also getting a new stats system called Strokes Gained, which is a system also currently used in actual professional golf. This system breaks down performance into four categories: tee shots, approach shots, greenside shots, and putts. After every round of golf the new stats system will automatically update everything so players can know exactly where they can aim to improve.

Golf+ is available now on Quest 2 for $29.99 USD. If you want to take your ultimate VR golf experience to all-new heights, check out the new Castle Links course as a free update for existing players.
