ISC2 SECURE Asia Pacific Kicks off Today to Tackle Region’s Cybersecurity Challenges – Fintech Singapore

The ISC2 SECURE Asia Pacific 2023 kicks off today at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre in Singapore. Organized by ISC2, a global leader in certified cybersecurity professional networks, the event is set to tackle pressing cybersecurity challenges in the Asia Pacific region and globally.

The two-day conference, running from 6-7 December, brings together an array of over 30 expert speakers to address topics such as artificial intelligence in cyber defense, cloud security, ransomware, and the broader scope of governance, risk, and compliance.

The conference serves as a platform for cybersecurity professionals from all career levels across the Asia Pacific region to gain insights into the complex security challenges organisations face.

Keynote addresses will be delivered by Francesca Bosco from the CyberPeace Institute and Ivo Peixinho of INTERPOL’s Cybercrime Intelligence Unit, focusing on various critical aspects of cybersecurity.

Dr. Janil Puthucheary, Senior Minister of State for Communications, Information, and Health, will also feature as a guest speaker.

The event is set to host a diverse group of speakers, including academic experts, Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), and cybersecurity practitioners.

Panel discussions will explore the impact of emerging technologies on the security landscape and the challenges to Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) globally.
