Meta Horizon Worlds Spotlight: Meta Racing

Welcome back to our weekly spotlight on the people building for Meta Horizon Worlds and their amazing creations.

Last week, we spent some time with Levfo, who’s crafted numerous worlds including Cozy Cabin, a relaxing and immersive place to chill by the fire with friends or for some solo time.

This week, we put on our driving gloves and got ready to tear around some tight corners and go full throttle through some tunnels in Aaronbeasley98’s Meta Racing!

The racing game is a staple of just about every video game system, and there’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to go pedal to the metal against your friends in Worlds. And when you spend time in Meta Racing!, you’d better be ready to go all out for that checkered flag.

Your goal here is to win the race. And when you get behind the wheel in Meta Racing!, you’ll be trying to outpace your friends as you burn rubber past some of the most whimsical scenery imaginable.

For example—the giant Easter Bunny. Or the rainbow you’ll drive by (and then directly under). The giant birds. The blue biplane buzzing the racecourse. You’ll dodge snowballs thrown by giant snowmen, try to keep from spinning out through a thunder and lightning storm, and navigate a pitch-black, bat-infested tunnel.

To start, just pick a lane and channel your inner speed demon. Your goal: Finish faster than everyone else and stand atop the winner’s podium. But you’ll have to bring your own Champagne.
