Being the final team invited to the upcoming ESL Challenger Melbourne, ESL have announced that paiN will be attending the tournament in Australia. They fill the third spot from the global ESL World Ranking and will take the eighth spot in the event overall.
paiN will not be the only Brazilian representation at the event however, as Imperial has also received an invite. Other notable names set to attend include OG, Entropiq, and EG.PA.
paiN will feature two new faces at Challenger Melbourne
The lineup led by Vinicios “PKL” Coelho has recently undergone roster changes, with both Gabriel “NEKIZ” Schenato and Gabriel “nython” Lino being benched. With the next season of ESL Challenger League approaching, the squad will need to find replacements by the end of the tournament break. According to a report from Dust2.br, the team is looking to Felipe “skullz” Medeiros and Romeu “zevy” Rocco to fill the shoes of the departed duo.
The previous lineup’s final result together came at IEM Cologne, where they finished in last place, losing to MOUZ and Sprout. They did however, win ESL Challenger League Season 41 before that, granting them a spot at the ESL Pro League Season 17 Conference.
