SPOR Group appoints founder of Henderson Scott to board

SPOR Group has appointed Mark Bailey to its board as a non-executive director.

Bailey, who was the founder and chief executive of Henderson Scott, will join Chris Spence and Chris Gore on the board to help support the business in its ambitious growth plans.

He expanded the global staffing business, which was formed in 2000, to a company with a revenue of £30m. During his time with Henderson Scott, Bailey opened several international offices and won numerous industry awards.

Bailey sold Henderson Scott to a private-equity-backed group in 2018, although he remains on the group board.  

“I am truly excited to be joining the board at SPOR Group at such an exciting phase in the business,” said Bailey. “I have been impressed by the ambition of the management team and look forward to helping the business grow into the market-leading AV provider to the enterprise sector.”

SPOR director and co-founder Chris Gore said: “Mark is an accomplished, growth-focused executive with many years of board experience in operations and business strategy. The board will benefit hugely from his experience and capability.”
