2023 season to kick off with BLAST Premier Spring Groups

The dates for the BLAST Premier Spring Groups have been confirmed. The 12 BLAST partnered teams, which include five teams currently in the top 10, will compete from January 19-29 for a prize pool of $177,500. The tournament will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The start of the season is almost upon us

The announcement has not specified what the groups will be or the structure of the event, but what is known is that six BLAST Premier Spring Final spots are on offer. The event serves as an opportunity for teams to warm up to the year as IEM Katowice is just around the corner.

It will also give us the first look at Ninjas in Pyjamas‘ newest player, which is reported to be Daniil “⁠headtr1ck⁠” Valitov. The event could serve as the young Ukrainian’s debut and will also be the debut for Astralis‘ new rifler, Christian “⁠Buzz⁠” Andersen.
