Her Majesty the Queen 1926 – 2022

All our staff and colleagues on AV Magazine and Electronics Weekly – indeed Metropolis/emap – are with so many people feeling a sense of loss this morning.

But, perhaps our feelings were stated best by EW’s David Manners earlier:

“We’ve lost a wonderful example of how holding the grandest of titles needn’t rule out living in a down-to-earth, wise, human way.

“To be carrying out public duties two days before her death says everything about her quality.

“A lot of us will be sadder for quite a while.”
