Meta Horizon Worlds Spotlight: Fairytale Lane

Welcome back to our weekly spotlight on the people building for Meta Horizon Worlds and their amazing creations.

Last week, we heard about how a lifetime of fascination with computers (and a Ph.D. in Computer Science) led JHeff.CS to become a prolific builder in Worlds.

This week, we escaped into the magical in purplewren00’s Fairytale Lane. It’s a place where you can take long slow breaths, tend a vegetable garden, and just move at whatever pace you want.

If you ever encounter a little fairy floating around and encouraging you to follow her, it’s probably best to do what she says.

That’s our recommendation for navigating Fairytale Lane, purplewren00’s lovely and quiet world. Here, you can leave the worries of work and children and business and traffic behind and simply breathe in, breathe out, and enjoy a fantastical realm full of beauty, bubbling water, a crackling fireplace, and, yes, the murmuring of our fairy friend.

Entering 513 Fairytale Lane, you’ll pass a picket fence and wander into a lush garden setting. You’ll see a small cabin and colorful trees. You’ll pass a little brook, and see a fertile veggie garden just waiting to be tended. And if you’re game, you can set out on a scavenger hunt.

But really, you’ll just want to saunter around, taking in the relaxed environment and perhaps following the fairy as she flutters about. Wander over to the garden, grab a seed packet, and plant your new vegetables. Then water them and watch them grow.
