In a report published by Forbes, Gemini crypto exchange has recently opened over 200 crypto job positions, an indication that the company is growing fast, which compels it to conduct a hiring spree.

Jonathan Tamblyn, Gemini’s director of talent, highlighted that the company doesn’t necessarily require previous experience at any crypto-related jobs. Though these experiences would be a plus, he said that it is not a prerequisite to get hired.

Gemini’s aggressive hiring doesn’t only reflect the company’s growth but also the further expansion of the crypto industry as well. With this continuous expansion, crypto companies are adjusting by hiring a larger workforce to meet the industry’s growing demands.

Gemini, a backstory

Gemini was created by two Facebook co-founders, Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, in 2014.

Since the company’s establishment, it has focused mainly on the area of the progressive relationships between the crypto industry, which became one of its strongest assets.

In 2016, it made history as the first-ever crypto exchange to be authorized to sell Ether and in 2018, Gemini became the first exchange to gain a license to sell Zcash.

The founders said that one of the biggest goals of the company is to create one of the most prominent wallets and exchange products and services in the crypto industry.

They said that to achieve this big and bold goal, they have to prioritize user experience and establish accessible and user-friendly platforms, not only for crypto natives but also for newcomers.

The crypto industry is a highly competitive arena where everybody wants to get the biggest slice of the crypto pie, compelling every company to offer the most competitive and innovative products and services they can offer.

Security and smart regulation

“Trading platforms that prioritize security and smart regulation, while making it simple for anyone to use, make cryptocurrencies accessible and attractive,” Noah Perlman, chief operating officer of Gemini, said.
